Zoiper, Linphone and Bria are established softphones, and each is a sensible choice for many people. This page only says what Darwvin Softphone does, so you can judge whether it fits your work. We have not tested those products for this comparison, so check their own sites for their current features and prices.
The same Darwvin account on Android and Linux. If you turn sync on, your call history syncs between them end-to-end encrypted.
After a call it shows packet loss, jitter and an estimated quality score, and suggests in plain words the likely cause (network, codec, server or device) and what to try.
TLS signalling and SRTP audio where your PBX offers them. With TLS the server certificate is always checked and the check cannot be turned off; SIP passwords stay in the Android Keystore or the system keychain.
The app talks straight to your PBX or provider. Our service handles your account, your plan and the optional encrypted sync, as described in the privacy policy. If you connect Darwvin CRM, call details go to your CRM.
Optional: connect your Darwvin CRM workspace and each call is logged on the matching record, the caller's name can show while it rings, and numbers in the CRM fill the dialler with one click.
Free has no end date and no card. Personal Pro adds unlimited accounts, transfer, conference, recording and Call Doctor, monthly, yearly or once for Lifetime.
Any softphone account is a SIP account: copy its user name, password, server, port and transport into Darwvin Softphone, and keep the old app until your first test call works. There is no automatic import from other softphones.
There is no Windows or macOS app yet (Windows is in development), no video calls on desktop, and no emergency calls. We test against Asterisk; other PBXs are not yet qualified. Android is installed from this site for now.
The Free plan covers two SIP accounts with no end date and needs only a free Darwvin account, created in the app. See the product page for platforms, plans and the refund policy.
